Hi, I’m Jelinah! I’ve been an Early Childhood Educator for over seven years, which basically means I’ve mastered the art of singing children songs with enthusiasm, finding glitter in strange places, and answering 300 questions before lunchtime—and I love every second of it.

My teaching is inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the belief that children learn best through play, exploration, and relationships. I value scaffolding—supporting each child’s learning by building on their interests and abilities at their own pace. I strive to create environments filled with colour, creativity, movement, and kindness, where children feel safe, seen, and inspired.

I truly believe children are little superheroes in the making, and it’s an honour to be part of their journey. Early childhood is a big adventure that involves the child, their family, and the world around them. Watching kids laugh, grow, and figure things out inspires me every day.

I moved to beautiful Vancouver in 2019 and instantly fell in love with its vibrant multicultural community—it feels like a place where everyone belongs.

Strong partnerships with families are at the heart of my work, so when they have something to share, my ears (and heart) are open.

Hello everyone! My name is Quinn, and I hold an Early Childhood Assistant Certificate. I believe that creating a safe, nurturing environment—where communication, nature, and a strong sense of community are valued—is key to supporting children's growth.

As a proud Vancouverite, I love taking children on field trips and helping them explore the beauty and diversity of our city. I especially enjoy introducing them to nature—whether it’s through forest walks, beach days, or simply observing bugs and leaves in the playground—helping them build a sense of wonder and respect for the natural world.

I’m also a big sports fan—hockey, soccer, you name it! I love bringing that energy and teamwork into the classroom. Whether we’re kicking a ball or solving puzzles, I aim to make our environment light, happy, and full of encouragement. At the same time, I ensure that everyone stays safe and understands the importance of discipline in creating a positive, respectful space for learning.

I enjoy guiding children through playful, meaningful experiences that help prepare them for their grade school years. My goal is to bring out the best in each child by encouraging curiosity, confidence, and fun every step of the way.

Our Location

Jolly Sprouts Childcare Centre is located in Vancouver, British Columbia, providing a nurturing environment for preschool-aged children. We are located near George Park and Winona Park for outdoor activities. We are near the number 3 bus stop, which is optimal for field trips to locations such as Science World and the Vancouver Aquarium.
